Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FreeTextoSpeech (freetexttospeech.net, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Bipul Kumar, an individual based in India ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. License and Permitted Use

FreeTextoSpeech grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use audio generated through the Service for personal, educational, and commercial purposes.

You are free to use generated audio in YouTube videos, podcasts, social media content, advertising, audiobooks, and video games without paying additional fees or providing attribution.

2. Content Ownership and Responsibility

You retain all rights to the text scripts you enter into the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary intellectual property rights and permissions for the scripts you convert.

You agree not to use the Service to generate defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, or unlawful audio content, or to impersonate living individuals without authorization.

3. Service Availability and Rate Limits

The Service is provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis. While we strive for continuous availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

To ensure fair access for all users, rate limits and request size restrictions (e.g. 5,000 to 20,000 characters per cloud conversion, depending on your account) are enforced.

4. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreeTextoSpeech and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

5. Paid Plans and Billing

Core tools are free. We may offer optional paid plans that add higher usage limits, extra features, and an ad-free experience. Each plan's price, billing period, and included features are shown before you pay.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payments, sales tax, invoices and returns. Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms (lemonsqueezy.com/buyer-terms) also apply to your purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard (Manage billing), the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email, or by contacting us; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

Purchases made earlier through Gumroad remain subject to Gumroad's terms and keep the benefits described when they were purchased.

6. Refunds

You can request a full refund within 14 days of any payment. See our Refund Policy at freetexttospeech.net/refund for details.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following modifications indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
