Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FreeTextoSpeech ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Service.

Description of Service

FreeTextoSpeech provides a free online text-to-speech conversion tool. Users can enter text, select from available AI voices, adjust speed settings, and generate downloadable WAV audio files. The service is provided free of charge. An account is not required for core use; optional sign-in with Google or email unlocks higher limits, the in-browser engine, and email preferences.

Electronic Communications

Transactional messages you request (such as API recovery notices or feedback acknowledgements) may be sent from status@freetexttospeech.net. Marketing emails—including product updates, tips, offers, promos, and campaigns—are optional and are sent only when a signed-in user selects the product-update checkbox. You can change this preference on your dashboard, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email blog.boopul@gmail.com. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Commercial Use Rights

Audio generated using FreeTextoSpeech may be used for both personal and commercial purposes, including but not limited to:

• YouTube videos and other online video content
• Podcasts and audio content
• Advertisements and marketing materials
• E-learning courses and educational content
• Presentations and business communications
• Audiobook creation

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Impersonate a specific individual without their consent
• Create deepfake or misleading audio intended to deceive
• Overwhelm or disrupt the Service through automated mass requests
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models
• Resell access to the Service or the API

Usage Limits

Cloud text-to-speech uses rolling 30-day limits shown by the tool: normally 5,000 characters for an anonymous visitor and 500,000 for a signed-in account. An active community supporter benefit increases that allowance to 2,000,000 characters. Individual provider and request-size limits may also apply. Speech-to-text tools have separate limits shown in the tool. We may implement additional rate limits to maintain service quality and prevent abuse.

Voluntary Community Support

You may voluntarily support FreeTextoSpeech through Gumroad either once or with monthly recurring support. The website support flow requires a signed-in account so benefits can be attached automatically. One-time support starts at $5 USD and does not renew. Monthly support is charged by Gumroad each month until you cancel it. Every qualifying, verified, completed payment—including each successful monthly renewal—adds 30 days of temporary thank-you benefits: an ad-free website experience, a 2,000,000-character rolling cloud allowance, an active supporter badge, and beta eligibility while signed in. Additional verified payments add 30 days to the later of the current expiration or the activation time.

You can manage or cancel monthly support through Gumroad. Cancellation stops future charges and does not remove the time already granted for a completed payment. Benefits may be revoked for a refunded or disputed payment, fraud, abuse, or a material violation of these Terms. Public recognition is optional. Gumroad's own terms govern its payment processing and any refund request. Supporting does not enroll you in marketing email, and does not purchase ownership, guaranteed uptime, permanent access, or priority support.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Audio quality may vary depending on input text, selected voice, and other factors.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall FreeTextoSpeech be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Voluntary community contributions are not a price for generated audio or a guarantee that the Service will remain continuously available.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the text you input. The generated audio may be used freely as described in the Commercial Use Rights section above. The FreeTextoSpeech brand, website design, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.

Advertising and Third-Party Links

The Service is supported by advertising, including ads served through Google AdSense and other partners. On ad-supported tool pages, generation may pause when our browser check detects that advertising is blocked. You can continue by allowing ads for freetexttospeech.net, or by using active supporter benefits. Active supporter pages do not render our AdSense metadata, slots, loading script, or ad-availability gate. Advertising and the gate return when the temporary benefit expires. The Service may also contain links to Gumroad and other third-party websites. We do not control or assume responsibility for their content, products, advertising, payment processing, or practices. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
