How do I convert an MP3 to text?

Is this MP3 transcription tool free?

Yes, within the shared daily allowance. Anonymous visitors can transcribe five minutes per 24 hours, while signed-in users get ten minutes. You can also use your own Groq API key for usage outside that shared allowance.

What is the maximum MP3 length?

Shared uploads must be five minutes or shorter and no larger than 20 MB. With your own Groq API key, each MP3 can be up to 30 minutes and 25 MB.

Does it handle MP3s in languages other than English?

Yes. Whisper Large V3 Turbo supports multilingual transcription. Pick a specific language in the tool or let it detect one automatically.

Can I download subtitles from an MP3?

Yes. Download the transcript as SRT to keep the segment timestamps from the model. Check the timing before you publish your final captions.
