Fix how a word is said

Add a word the voice gets wrong and spell it the way it should sound. The fix is used every time you generate, and your script stays exactly as you typed it. Saved in this browser only.

Source files are parsed locally. In Cloud mode, only the selected text sections are sent for speech generation. In-browser mode keeps both the source and generated speech on this device.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

    01

How do I convert a WebVTT (.vtt) file to speech?

Upload your .vtt file directly into the studio. The tool strips out VTT headers, cue tags, and timestamps, then loads the dialogue lines into an editable voiceover queue.
    02

Can I preserve the original subtitle cue timing?

Yes. You can keep the exact timecode spacing from the original WebVTT file, or switch to natural pauses between lines for a continuous voiceover track.
    03

Does this tool strip VTT cue settings and styling tags?

Yes. WebVTT tags such as <v Voice>, <b>, <i>, and positioning markers (such as line:0 position:20%) are cleaned automatically so only natural speech is produced.
    04

Can I download separate audio files for each subtitle cue?

Yes. You can download a single combined master audio file (WAV or MP3), individual audio tracks for every cue, or a complete project ZIP containing timing metadata.
    05

Do I need an account or subscription?

No. FreeTextoSpeech is completely free to use online with no sign-up, no watermarks, and full commercial usage rights.
