Fix how a word is said

Add a word the voice gets wrong and spell it the way it should sound. The fix is used every time you generate, and your script stays exactly as you typed it. Saved in this browser only.

Source files are parsed locally. In Cloud mode, only the selected text sections are sent for speech generation. In-browser mode keeps both the source and generated speech on this device.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

    01

How do I convert HTML to speech?

Upload a saved .html file or paste the rendered article text. The importer removes scripts, styles, tags, and repeated whitespace, then prepares editable sections for narration.
    02

Will the engine read HTML tags aloud?

No. When you upload an HTML file, the importer parses the document and keeps its readable text content. You can review the cleaned result before generating audio.
    03

    Why convert HTML to speech?

The most common reasons are: making a blog post into an audio companion, listening to long articles during commutes, accessibility for visually impaired users, and proofreading copy on landing pages by ear before publishing.
    04

Can I scrape a whole webpage automatically?

The studio deliberately does not fetch arbitrary URLs. Save the webpage as HTML and upload it, or paste the article text. This keeps the source explicit and avoids silently collecting page content.
    05

    How do Reader Modes help?

Reader Mode in Firefox, Safari, and Edge strips ads, navigation, comments, and boilerplate, leaving only the article text. Activate Reader Mode, select all, copy, and paste into FreeTextoSpeech for the cleanest possible read.
